Why are your fees less than I have been quoted by a local Architect?

We deliberately keep our overheads low, we don't employ a secretary or have a glass fronted office in a city centre. We pass these cost savings back to you in our prices. We also use the latest Cad (computer-aided-design) programs to produce our quality plans and to help save us time.

 

Will I need Planning Permission for my single storey extension?

Since the Planning Permission Rules were relaxed on October 1st 2008, many single storey extensions now don't require Planning Permission, up to a certain size and type of house.

Will I require Building Regulations Approval for my single storey extension?

Yes, Building Regulations Approval will be required. We will produce the plans for you, and submit them to your Local Authority for a full Building Regulation Approval.

 

What will the total Price be for my extension plans and Local Authority Applications?

If you require a Planning Permission application for your extension + £150	£150.00

Do You fill out the Local Authority Application forms and submit the application to the Local Authority?

Yes, we do all the hard work - so you don't have too. We submit your applications to your Local Authority and act as agent until the approvals arrive.

 

Do you charge for amendments to the plans if the Local Authority want our extension amending?

No, we do not charge for this. We don't think its fair that you should be charged extra for something you don't have any control over. We will amend your plans free of charge.

 

What areas do you cover?

We will travel around 70 miles from Stevenage to design your single storey extension. Please see the map below to check if we can offer you our services.

How many sets of plans will I receive?

We provide you with four sets of plans and supply the Local Authority with as many sets as is required for the Planning Permission and Building Regulation Applications.
